Horseback
Riding Guided Tour |

|
Description: Enjoy
the wonderful sensation of freedom in riding
a horse along a secluded, pristine beach
in the middle of paradise. As you ride
along beaches and shoreline trails you
will be encouraged to take note of the
various levels of rain forest development,
to record the many endemic plants and,
more times than not, you will be able to
see toucans and scarlet macaws, considered
by bird enthusiasts to be some of the most
beautiful birds in the world. Whether you
love bird watching, nature photography
or simply riding horses, you will enjoy
this great adventure.
Attractions: One of the most exotic and diverse primary rain forests in
the world; the guide will point out some of the natural sanctuaries or cathedrals,
home of gigantic centennial trees; high probability of seeing Toucans and even
a greater chance of seeing Scarlet Macaws; a horse back riding experience on
the beach and much, much more.
|
Routing: We
mount the horses in the corral
and ride bordering the primary
rain forest towards the South,
surrounded by what scientists
consider one of the most complex
ecosystems on Planet Earth. We
then get off the horses and walk
into the rain forest for a few
minutes. Finally, we ride back
to our starting point along beautiful
sandy beaches. |

|
Timing: The
trip South takes approximately one hour.
We pause for 15 minutes for fresh fruits
and drinks and, after a 30 minute walk
into the dense rain forest, we take another
10 minutes to rehydrate before the 35 minute
ride back via the beach. A total of 3.5
hours.
Includes: Horses, horse guide, specialized naturalist
guide, refreshments and fruits.
